Likes and dislikes

Like / Don't like

Wednesday  23rd
Hi everybody!
Some of us aren’t very keen on housework and this is what we learnt today.
(To be keen on = to like)
We learnt how to talk about things we like doing and things we don’t like doing.
Verbs to express likes and dislikes: love, enjoy, like, don’t mind, don’t like, hate.
After these verbs we usually use “-ing”
Some of us are very keen on sports and free time activities.
Tell me what you love, like, don’t mind, hate doing both housework or leisure activities.
Have a nice weekend and don’t forget to do your homework on “Daily routines”. And do some housework, too!
Daily Routine

Our Second Week

Monday 21st
Here  we are again! Starting a new week.
First things, first : let’s say hello to our new classmate, Isa.
And now let’s start.
In our class today we revised the months of the year and the seasons.
What’s your favourite season? Why?
We learnt to use ordinal numbers to say dates.
Remember that ordinal numbers are similar to cardinal numbers. Add “th” and you will have the ordinal number. But look out! These ones are different or have a different spelling 1st, 2nd, 3th, 5th, 8th, 9th and 12th.
Could you spell them right?
When’s your birthday?
Remember: In with months On with dates and days of the week.
We learnt some housework vocabulary. We didn’t get into detail because this is enough for a Monday!
